Turkish security authorities arrest Israeli Mossad agent in Istanbul

Turkish security forces arrested an agent of the Israeli Mossad who was running a Mossad financing center in Istanbul. Turkish security sources reported today that a foreigner, whose nationality was not mentioned, named "Leridon Rexhebi", was running a financial center in Istanbul to finance Mossad agents in Turkey, Syria and several countries in Eastern Europe. Turkish security sources explained that Rexhebi was filming footage with drones, on orders from the Israeli intelligence agency /Mossad/, of the movements of Palestinian politicians in Istanbul, in addition to collecting information about Syria through Syrians residing in Turkey who frequently go to Syria. Security sources reported that the intelligence agency had been monitoring Rexhebi's movements and financial transfers since he entered Turkey, and after confirming the nature of his espionage activities, he was arrested on August 30. Turkish security sources confirmed that Rexhebi confessed during the initial investigations that he was running a financial center affiliated with the Israeli Mossad and that he was transferring money to Mossad elements in Turkey and Syria and agents in several Eastern European countries on orders from the Israeli intelligence agency.
