Two people were injured in a family fight in Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.

A police source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: ‘A dispute broke out between two families in the Khan al-Lawalawah area in central Baqubah, which developed into the use of a firearm and a sharp instrument, which led to two people being seriously injured.”

He added: ‘A police force arrived in the area to resolve the dispute, while the injured were transferred to Baqubah Hospital.’
