Abu dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed various areas of cooperation, with an emphasis on economic and developmental ties, in a telephone call on Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two leaders also addressed several issues of mutual interest, particularly the developments unfolding in the Middle East. They considered the serious repercussions these developments have for regional and international security and stability. The conversation highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between the UAE and Turkey to address these challenges.
