Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Farhan Haq announced that work is continuing with the two fighting parties in Sudan to achieve a continuous truce.
He said in a televised interview: "No decision has been taken yet regarding the negotiations, and we are working on that," calling on the fighting parties in Sudan to political negotiations.
He added: "No party can win the fighting in Sudan."
