Doha: The second day of the 13th edition of the Halal Qatar Festival continued at the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara, amidst a vibrant heritage atmosphere and fierce competition among participants. Thursday’s events saw the crowning of winners in the Arab category across various competitions, with a large presence of breeders and livestock enthusiasts.
According to Qatar News Agency, the winners of the “Most Beautiful Locally Bred Camel,” “Most Beautiful Locally Bred Individual,” and “Most Beautiful International Bull” competitions were honored. Rashid Hassan Al Hajri secured first place in the Arab category for “Most Beautiful Locally Bred Camel,” followed by Thalab Jalmeid Al Hajri in second place, Saad Saad Al Kaabi in third, Hamad Bakheet Al Marri in fourth, and Abdullah Mubarak Al Manai in fifth.
In the “Most Beautiful Locally Bred Individual” competition for the Arab category, Saad Saad Al Kaabi claimed both first and second places, Hamad Bakheet Al Marri took third and fourth, and Rashid Hassan Al Hajri secured fifth place. For the “Most Beautiful International Bull” competition, the winners were Hamad Bakheet AAL Marri (first and fifth), Abdullah Saleh Al Kubaisi (second), Mubarak Al Azmi (third), and Khalifa Al Maliki Al Jehani (fourth).
In another context, General Manager of Katara Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti honored Mohammed Al Dosari, owner of Al Dosari Reserve, at the festival site today. The recognition was for his efforts in environmental and heritage conservation, celebrating pioneers and contributors to preserving Qatar’s environment and heritage. Al Dosari’s efforts have made Al Dosari Reserve one of the most prominent environmental, tourism, and educational landmarks in the country.
