In December, Al Shamal Municipality, represented by the Municipal Control Department carried out 1725 periodic inspection tours within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality.
These tours resulted in the issuance of several violation seizure reports regarding the organization of human food control, building violations, and public hygiene.
The Health Control Department carried out 1223 periodic inspection campaigns on food facilities within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality. As a result, 263 carcasses including (sheep, camels, and cows) have been inspected inside the Automated Slaughterhouse, 2 carcasses were completely disposed, and 33 carcasses were partially disposed of at the Public Slaughterhouse. In addition, 28 samples were sent to the Central Laboratory to ensure their safety for human consumption.
In December, the Public Control Section carried out 340 inspection campaigns, notice stickers were placed on 24 abandoned vehicles that were sent away from the administrative borders of the Municipality as a consequence. Furthermore, a number of violation seizure reports were issued, some of which were reconciled. The Section also received (1) complaint and dealt with it immediately.
In the same context, during the past month, the Technical Control Department carried out 153 periodic inspection campaigns on buildings and state properties. As a result, buildings violation seizure reports were issued. The Section also received several complaints and dealt with them immediately.
