8 Killed, Others Missing in Factory Fire in Central Thailand

Saraburi: Eight people were killed and several others missing after a fire broke out at a factory in Saraburi Province, Thailand.

According to Qatar News Agency, initial reports indicated that eight people were killed and dozens injured in the fire that broke out in the Nong Khai area on Monday. Meanwhile, search and rescue teams are still searching for the missing.

The fire was brought under control last night, as Thai authorities and search and rescue teams coordinated the search for the missing workers.

The company is currently working with all relevant departments to determine the cause of the fire. In 2021, 21 people were injured in a massive explosion and fire at a plastics factory in Samut Prakan province in central Thailand.
