The security forces in Maysan arrested 9 suspects wanted for various crimes in Qalaat Saleh and Al-Majar Al-Kabeer districts.

The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: "A force from the 3rd Regiment of the 97th Infantry Brigade affiliated to the Maysan Operations Command managed to arrest the suspects," indicating that "they are wanted according to various crimes, including drugs and threats, provoking clan conflicts.

It added: "The accused have been handed over to the competent authorities."
