Al-Araji And The Turkish Ambassador Stress The Importance Of The International Community’s Cooperation To End Al-Hol Camp File

The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, discussed with the Turkish ambassador to Baghdad, Ali Reza Gunay, cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and the Al-Hol camp file.

A statement by the Office of the National Security Chancellery stated: "Al-Araji received the Turkish ambassador to Baghdad, Ali Reza Gunay. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the political and security situation in the region, and reviewed the relations of friendship and cooperation and ways to enhance them, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and the two neighboring countries."

The two sides also discussed the continuation of cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, in addition to discussing the file of the Syrian Al-Hol camp and the dangers its presence poses to security in the region, and they stressed the importance of the cooperation of the international community to end this file.
