Awqaf General Directorate Provides Scholarships for Students with Disabilities

The General Directorate of Endowments of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) announced its continued support for Al-Tamakon Comprehensive School by providing 20 scholarships for students with disabilities, with a support from the Waqf bank for scientific and cultural development, and the Waqf bank for health care.

At a press conference, Director General of the General Directorate of Endowments Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Ghanim Al-Thani praised the close relationship between the two sides owing to the distinguished services provided by the school as they conform to the conditions of the endowers, who designated their endowments for spending on education and health.

For his part, advisor and director of Al-Tamakon Comprehensive School Dr. Nidal Abdel Qader expressed his great thanks and appreciation to the endowers who are known for their keenness to direct the proceeds of their endowments for the benefit of the needy, adding Al-Tamakon Comprehensive School is a permanent partner for the endowment in achieving its goals and noble mission in society.
