Conclusion of Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference in Manama with Qatari Participation

Manama: The Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference under the theme “One Nation, One Shared Destiny” concluded Thursday in the Bahraini capital, Manama. Qatar participated in the conference with a delegation from the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two-day conference brought together more than 400 Islamic scholars, leaders, thinkers, and intellectuals from around the world. The event aimed to build on past experiences and initiatives towards the convergence of the Islamic nation, continuing with a stronger and broader vision by discussing the most important and urgent issues. The focus was on areas of challenge and providing genuine qualitative contributions to Islamic unity.

At the end of the conference, participants recommended the unity of the Ummah and stressed the need for understanding and cooperation to achieve the requirements of Islamic brotherhood. The conference highlighted that the Islamic dialogue needed by the Ummah is not a doctrinal or comparative dialogue but a constructive dialogue of understanding. This dialogue encompasses numerous elements of unity in facing common challenges, with adherence to the ethics and morals of dialogue.

The conference further called for joint cooperation among religious, scientific, intellectual, and media authorities to eradicate the culture of hatred and enmity among Muslims.
