CSB Head praises Cabinet’s decision on adopting flexible working hours

Head of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed, hailed the Cabinet’s approval of the attendance policy for the employees subject to the CSB law and regulations by adopting flexible working hours across ministries and government agencies. The new policy will provide employees with a three-hour window to begin their workday to increase productivity.

Al Zayed asserted that the move tunes up with the directives and aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to optimize the government services and ensure they are provided fast and effectively. He noted the role of the step in achieving Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and meeting citizens’ aspirations regarding the accomplishment of the goals of the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The CSB Head stressed that the decision will help improve productivity and create a comfortable and suitable work environment for the employees. He pointed out that the CSB will promptly take the necessary measures to enforce the decision and ensure discipline in attendance and departure to perform job duties to the fullest and serve the nation and citizens.
