Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani met on Thursday with HE Minister of National Defence of Canada, David McGuinty, and the accompanying delegation, during his visit to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the officials discussed the latest security developments in the region and explored aspects of military cooperation and joint coordination under the current circumstances. The talks were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and address mutual concerns in defense and security.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides, highlighting the importance of the discussions and the commitment of both countries to work together on shared security challenges.
