HH the Amir Engages in Diplomatic Discussions with Turkish President and Pakistani PM

Antalya: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with HE President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and HE Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, convened for a joint meeting at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026. The discussions centered on the current regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the Middle East and efforts to promote security and stability through diplomatic measures.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significant role of international cooperation in addressing regional challenges. HH the Amir and HE the Turkish President praised the contributions of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in fostering diplomatic solutions and expressed their support for HE the Pakistani Prime Minister's initiatives in this regard.

The leaders exchanged perspectives on issues of mutual concern, underscoring the necessity for ongoing coordination to address challenges effectively. They agreed on the importance of collaborative efforts in enhancing security and stability at both regional and international levels.

The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi. High-ranking officials from the Turkish and Pakistani delegations were also present, further emphasizing the significance of the diplomatic engagement.
