Baghdad: The Iraqi security forces announced that they had captured seven ISIS militants in Anbar Governorate in western Iraq, and Kirkuk and Nineveh in northern Iraq in security operations that were based on accurate intelligence information, security sources reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that the security forces executed precision ambushes and raids that targeted ISIS sites, resulting in apprehending those militants.

Backed by airstrikes, the Iraqi forces continue to conduct persistent inspection campaigns and raids against ISIS remnants in remote and mountainous areas in the northeastern and western provinces of Iraq.
