Doha: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation of the Israeli onslaught on the town of Koya, west of Daraa governorate in Syria, which led to several casualties.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the ministry reiterated the State of Kuwait’s position on the significance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, stressing that it is imperative for the UN Security Council to uphold its responsibility in safeguarding international peace and security and putting an end to the systematic violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces that imperil the security and stability of the region.
Several people were killed in Israeli bombing during the occupation forces’ incursion into the town of Koya.
