Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati said on Saturday evening that our solidarity today is the strongest response to the Zionist aggression. Mikati added in a press statement: "At this critical time, we reiterate the role of the army and security forces in preserving the homeland." Lebanon has been exposed for several days to a fierce Zionist attack that resulted in thousands of civilian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, including targeting the southern suburb of Beirut, which led to the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and a number of his fellow mujahideen.
