New York: HE Minister of Social Development and Family, Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, held separate meetings with HE Minister of State for Education of the Republic of Rwanda, Claudette Irere, and HE Executive Director of UN Women, Dr. Sima Bahous. These meetings took place on the sidelines of the annual ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends on Gender Parity, an event organized by the Permanent Delegation of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in collaboration with the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Rwanda.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions during these meetings primarily focused on Qatar’s bilateral cooperation with Rwanda and UN Women, exploring avenues for enhancement. Various topics of mutual interest were also examined, indicating a commitment to strengthening partnerships and addressing gender parity on an international scale.
