Qatar Chamber Unveils 2025-2030 Strategy Aligned with National Vision

Doha: Al-Watan newspaper said that Qatar Chamber launched on Saturday its new 2025-2030 strategy, which is clearly consistent with what was presented during the National Development Forum held last week under the patronage and attendance of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the President of the National Planning Council, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The Forum aimed to highlight the development pillars within Qatar National Vision 2030.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of engaging the private sector in enhancing economic resilience and seizing emerging economic opportunities, as well as the importance of the third phase of the National Development Strategy. His Excellency also highlighted his commitment to consolidating Qatar’s position as a major player on the global stage, led by a thriving, competitive, and dynamic private sector.

Qatar Chamber’s 2025-2030 strategy is based on the same pillars, emphasizing strengthening and supporting the Qatari private sector locally and globally, representing it, defending its causes, and developing the business environment to become attractive to local and foreign investments, Al-Watan concluded.

For its part, the Peninsula newspaper said that the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), like other government entities concerned with protecting consumer rights within its jurisdiction, is fulfilling its duties by setting standards for efficient consumer protection. The Authority has issued a Consumer Protection Policy for the Postal Sector and the Regulation for Postal Consumer Protection, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding postal consumers’ rights.

In accordance with the Postal Services Regulation Law No. (15) of 2023, CRA officially granted the first postal license to Qatar Post in January. CRA seeks to enhance the sector to become competitive and innovative, stimulating the growth of e-commerce by keeping pace with global trends such as sustainability, digitization, and direct delivery solutions, which contributes to driving economic diversification in Qatar, in line with its strategy compatible with the Qatar National Vision 2030, the paper said.

The new Consumer Protection Policy sets out guidelines for consumer protection in postal services, ensuring that consumers receive clear, accurate, and easily accessible information about the services provided, the Peninsula concluded.
