Qatar Concludes Joint Security Exercise with Multiple Agencies

Doha: The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) concluded a joint exercise on Thursday, involving the Qatar Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior, to bolster coordination and integration between military and security agencies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Major General Mohammed Mesfer Al Shahwan. The exercise's final drill featured a scenario simulating riot-control operations, designed to assess readiness and the ability to manage emergency situations efficiently through joint inter-agency coordination.

The exercise saw participation from various units, including the Qatar Military Police Forces (QMPF), GHQ Support Force, Joint Special Forces, Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), and Signal Corps. Additionally, the Ministry of Interior's support forces, the National Command Center (NCC), Special Operations Command, Support and Reinforcement Group, and Lekhwiya's Female VIP Protection Unit were involved.
