Doha: Qatari newspapers highlighted in their editorials Monday the official tour undertaken by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in several friendly European countries at the invitation of their leaders. HH the Amir will begin the tour on Monday with a visit to the Kingdom of Sweden, followed by the Kingdom of Norway, and will conclude it with a visit to the Republic of Finland. This is in line with His Highness's global openness policy and his commitment to strengthening friendships, cooperation, and building partnerships with friendly nations. The newspapers also emphasized the State of Qatar's commitment to enhancing the efficiency of the private sector by localizing jobs, encouraging Qataris and children of Qatari women to engage in the sector, providing them with job security, and creating a stable working environment, in order to increase the effective participation of the national workforce in private sector institutions and companies, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The newspapers praised the State of Qatar's energy projects, which are gaining global attention due to their impact on local, regional, and international levels. In this context, they referred to QatarEnergy's announcement to a new solar power mega project, and a new, world-scale urea production complex. These developments represent a significant step forward in Qatar's energy sector, not only locally but also globally. Regarding HH the Amir's tour in several European countries, Al-Sharq daily said that the tour, during which His Highness will hold talks with the leaders of these countries and senior officials, will address ways to strengthen cooperative relations, as well as discuss a number of issues of mutual interest, which will elevate bilateral cooperation to broader horizons. The newspaper added that His Highness's tour is an important step towards advancing relations with these countries to new levels, moving towards strategic partnerships that achieve the desired goals and serve mutual interests. Moreover, it pla ys a crucial role in enhancing joint work and multilateral cooperation to address regional and international challenges and to strengthen joint efforts in contributing to achieving international security and peace. Al-Sharq concluded by emphasizing that the importance of His Highness's tours lies in the fact that they enhance the State of Qatar's position on the global stage, as the country has become a key player in resolving international crises and issues. Qatar's effective and important roles include its mediation efforts, its commitment to dialogue in resolving conflicts, its prominent role in securing energy supplies, its clear humanitarian and relief roles, and its support for United Nations efforts and assistance to those affected by conflicts, wars, and disasters. For its part, Al-Raya newspaper said in its editorial that the State of Qatar is committed to enhancing the efficiency of the private sector by localizing jobs, encouraging Qataris and the children of Qatari women to engage in it, grantin g them job security, and providing a stable work environment. This effort aims to increase the effective participation of the national workforce in private sector institutions and companies, and to open up job opportunities for Qataris and the children of Qatari women, thereby maximizing the utilization of qualified national talents, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The paper underlined that the issuance of the law for job localization in the private sector was aimed at enhancing the attractiveness of the labor market to the national workforce and increasing the ability of companies to attract and accommodate citizens. It also aims to encourage Qataris to participate in the private sector, provide job stability for national cadres, develop the professional skills of the national workforce, meet the labor market's demand for qualified cadres, and encourage private sector companies and establishments to increase the participation of the national workforce. In conclusion, Al-Raya said that law on job l ocalization in the private sector reflects the State's efforts to encourage youths to work in this significant sector, which includes a large number of entities, such as banking, finance, and other sectors, and has begun to offer numerous advantages to employees, potentially surpassing those of the public sector.
