Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani congratulated the sons of the Yazidi component on the Yazidi New Year's Day.

Al-Sudani said in a tweet to him: “We extend our sincere congratulations and blessings to our people from the Yazidi component on the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, this authentic component whose roots extend in the soil of Iraq to hundreds of years.

He added, “We share your joys with you and remember your great sacrifices that prompted you to adhere to your Iraqiness and your belonging to our honorable homeland, and every year, you are well and well in our beloved country, the Iraq of diversity, brotherhood and love.”
