Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday that its air defense systems destroyed nine Ukrainian drones over Russian territory overnight.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense systems on duty successfully intercepted and destroyed the drones, which included five over Belgorod Oblast, two over Kursk Oblast, and two over the Black Sea.

The ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war continues to pose a significant challenge to the international community, with persistent efforts by the US to find diplomatic solutions to bring an end to the conflict and establish peace.
