Russia’s Investigative Committee Says Ukraine Involved in St. Petersburg Bombing

The Investigative Committee of Russia said that Ukraine's special security services were behind Sunday's attack against a cafe in downtown Petersburg.

The Committee said in a statement carried by Sputnik news agency, that it has an evidence that the bombing was planned and organized from within Ukrainian territory.

The blast killed Russian war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky and wounded dozens including eight in critical conditions.

Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, the St. Petersburg cafe bombing was considered a terrorist attack, the statement said.

Earlier on Monday, Russian interior ministry said the police had arrested Darya Trepova, the main suspect for the blast. (QNA)
