Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held today a phone conversation with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during which he underscored the importance of halting military escalation, ending violence and defuse tensions in Sudan.

The two sides also stressed the importance of protecting the civilians and citizens of the other countries to ensure security and stability of Sudan and its people, in addition to discussing bilateral relations between the two countries, including issues of mutual interest.
