Al Duhail returned to the top of QNB Stars League on Tuesday, after defeating Al Rayyan 4-3 at Abdullah bin Khalifa stadium.
Al Duhail took their point tally to 45 points, two points more than Al Arabi. Al Rayyan meanwhile remain ninth with 17 points.
Al Duhail were in complete control of the match, and were ahead 4-1 before Sofian Boufal scored a brace for Al Rayyan in the final 10 minutes of the match.
