The Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces carried out a search operation on Albu Marsous Island in Salah Al-Din Governorate.

The Authority stated in a statement, "The joint operation aimed to pursue ISIS remnants on the island, with the participation of a force from the 35th Brigade, a force from the 9th Brigade in the Mobilization Forces, the 4th Regiment in the Tigris Mobilization Forces, the army and the commandos."
