The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and the Jordanian King, King Abdullah II, stressed the necessity of supporting the Palestinian cause and intensifying efforts to reach an immediate cessation of the aggression against Gaza. During their meeting in the Jordanian capital, Amman, they stressed working to find a final solution to the Palestinian issue that ends the cycle of violence and guarantees the Palestinian people their legitimate rights. They stressed that the international community must take action to put an end to the serious violations suffered by the Palestinian people, represented by policies of racial discrimination, siege, and trespassing on holy sites. They pointed out the importance of reducing tensions, stopping the ongoing escalation, and adopting understandings and constructive dialogue to establish security, stability and peace among the peoples of the region.
