Ramallah - Ma'an - The Palestinian National Initiative Movement welcomed the approval of Hamas and the Palestinian resistance to the mediators' proposal. She said that this approval meets with national consensus because it serves the interest of the Palestinian people in stopping the criminal Israeli aggression and genocide on the Gaza Strip, and contributes to alleviating their suffering. The initiative confirmed that the essence of the mediators' proposal was what stipulated a return to sustainable calm in order to achieve a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and reconstruction. The initiative said that the position of the resistance has cornered Netanyahu and his extremist government into a corner and deepened its crisis, and that its negative response to the Palestinian position will put it in a confrontation with the entire world and it will be forced, no matter how long it procrastinates, to submit and stop its aggression in the end. The National Initiative mo vement added that everyone and the entire world is indebted to heroism, steadfastness and valor . Sons and daughters of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip who endured pain and suffering beyond human capacity and insisted on steadfastness in their homeland and thwarted the plot of ethnic cleansing and displacement. The initiative confirmed that the occupation failed miserably in achieving the goals of its aggression after seven months of war and destruction. It did not uproot the resistance, impose its control, recover its prisoners by military force, or achieve ethnic cleansing. The initiative movement called for caution in confronting Israeli tricks and deepening the unity of the Palestinian people in confronting them. The initiative concluded its statement by saluting the sacrifices of the martyrs and emphasizing the continuation of the struggle for the freedom of prisoners, and the freedom of the Palestinian people from occupation, racial discrimination, and colonial settler colonialism.
