Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have reportedly caused the deaths of at least 50,183 Palestinian civilians and injured approximately 113,828 others since the onset of the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip in October 2023.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed in a statement on Wednesday that local hospitals received 39 deceased individuals, including one victim recovered from the rubble, along with 124 wounded over the past 24 hours. The ministry further detailed that since the renewed Israeli military actions commenced on March 18, 2025, a total of 830 Palestinians have been killed, with 1,787 others injured. Many victims remain trapped in bomb-damaged structures or are lying in the streets, as rescue efforts are hampered by the ongoing hostilities.
The resumption of Israeli aggression on March 18, 2025, followed a temporary halt in hostilities due to a ceasefire agreement initiated on January 19. However, Israel violated this agreement, continuing to target multiple locations throughout the Gaza Strip and resulting in significant civilian casualties. The situation has been exacerbated by Israel’s refusal to adhere to humanitarian protocols and the intensification of its blockade on the region, leading to a severe humanitarian crisis.
