Bahrain to play Algeria in two friendly matches

Bahrain will take on Algeria on April 27 and 29 in two friendly matches within the International Handball Federation (IHF) window.

Bahrain Handball Association (BHA) National Teams Director Ismail Baqer said the friendly matches will be played at the BHA sports arena in Umm Al Hassam.

The national squad started a training camp last Friday led by national coach Icelandic Aron Kristjansson, as part of the initial plan which was set by the technical team.

The national coach lined up a list of 31 players to take part in training camp which will continue in May. The list includes Jassim Al Salatnam Abdulla Ali, Hussein Jaffer, Ali Mirza Salman (Al Ahli), Mohammed Hameed, Ali Mahmoud (Ittifaq), Hassan Al Samaheeji, Hesham Ahmed, Ali Al Asheeri, Hassan Madan, Hussein Abdulla, Ahmed Abbas (Al Dair), Ahmed Jalal, Ahmed Ridha, Mujtaba Al Zaimur, Salah Abduljalil and Jassim Khamis (Al Shabab).

Muntathar Ibrahim (Al Tadhamun), Hassan Mirza, Al Sayyed Ali Bassem, Mohammed Ali Mirza, Qassim Qamber, Adel Afrooz, Mohammed Abdulhussein, Mohammed Habib Nasser, Mohammed Mirza Salman, Ahmed Al Maqabi (Al Najma), Ali Abdulqader (Al Nasr -Kuwait), Hussein Al Sayyed (Al Khaleej – Saudi Arabia), Ali Eid and Kumail Mahfoudh (Al Huda – Saudi Arabia) are also taking part in the training programme.
